Interaction and joint responsibility

Interaction and joint growth – that’s what OHRMANN stands for.

In our corporate culture, we stand up for each other professionally and personally, take responsibility and shape the place where we build sophisticated customer solutions.

We all know and we all live: going your own way is only possible in a strong cooperation at eye level. And that is why every single person counts!

In dialogue, we do everything we can to ensure that everyone bears responsibility that fills, challenges, inspires and allows them to grow beyond themselves.

Active participation in the shaping of our company is also explicitly desired and possible. For this we have created our very own model of operational co-creation.

Family business and family friendliness

OHRMANN is a family business. As such, we act very value-oriented. Appreciation, sincerity and loyalty are our common foundation.

At the same time, family friendliness is a central element of our corporate culture. We rely on a family-conscious personnel policy in which the compatibility of family and work is constantly reconsidered, solved and lived at all levels of our company.

We actively promote family-friendly framework conditions in all phases of life and their necessities as well as for very personal life plans. We always want to find practicable and flexible solutions that suit everyone involved.

Thanks to this commitment, we have been certified as a family-friendly company since 2013.

With everything we do, we help bold changemakers use our expertise in seal assembly to create solutions for a livable, sustainable future.

And thus each of our companions helps to make the world a little bit better every day.

  • Sales department

We inspire and advise our customers from the first product idea and jointly develop custom-fit assembly solutions - for every seal.

  • Project management

We are the first point of contact for our customers and control the development of the machines from the project handover to the successful acceptance. All the threads come together with us.

  • Construction department

We are the technological trendsetter and constructively implement customer requirements with creativity and our strong will to find solutions. On the way to functional perfection, our team develops innovative solutions.

  • Purchase department

No matter what is needed - we will get it! With our direct connection to the project management and the machining production as well as through our good supplier relationships, we ensure an optimal supply.

  • Machining production

For us batch size 1 is common practice. The flawless production of complex and filigree components motivates us every day.

Our machines are “almost” for eternity. To make this possible, we are our customers' first point of contact for spare parts, service calls, machine conversions and other optimisations.

  • Quality and processes

Customer satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Checking our product quality, ensuring our process quality and optimising our process efficiency are only part of our diverse tasks.

  • Finance department

We control the company's finances. In a small team, we act as an interface between the purchase, sales and project management departments.

  • Human Resources

We take care of the concerns of our colleagues. Administration, development and recruiting - we are happy about the many different tasks.

  • IT

Our company is located very idyllic, on the northern edge of the beautiful Sauerland region, and is the ideal place to work for people who love peace and nature.

The entire region around lake Möhnesee is ideal for everyone seeking relaxation or wanting to get active in nature: from hiking to cycling, from family excursions in nature to sailing or surfing on our 'Westphalian Sea' - everyone will find a variety of ways to spend their leisure time.

Not far from Lake Möhnesee, the historic Hanseatic town of Soest, once the "secret capital of Westphalia", also awaits you. The town offers a unique, cosy charm with its old patrician houses, half-timbered facades, winding alleys and an almost completely preserved medieval city wall. Of course, there is also a wide range of restaurants, shopping opportunities, cultural events and city festivals - for example, the annual All Saints' Fair with around 1 million visitors.

And for those who like it a bit louder and bigger from time to time: the next big city is only half an hour's drive away.
